Lighting Fixtures Upgrade

Lighting Fixtures Upgrade

This document provides model language for the scope of work included in a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a lighting retrofit in municipal buildings including supply, installation, and commissioning of energy efficient lighting, occupancy sensors, and light switches.

This document is a useful resource for local governments that choose not to implement a lighting retrofit program utilizing municipal staff. It requires the contractor to prepare and submit technical plans and a work plan, along with reports, and as-built drawings. This can be useful for larger-scale jobs and where staff lack the necessary technical skills.
