Guide to Planning a Volunteer Project

Guide to Planning a Volunteer Project

After a project has been chosen, there are several key next steps that need to be completed including a project action plan, that will ensure a successful volunteer project.  The Project Action Plan is considered the “road map” of the effort and includes details necessary to communicate, implement, and evaluate your project’s path forward. It outlines what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, by whom it needs to be done, and what resources or inputs are needed to do it.

This guide will walk a volunteer coordinator through the necessary steps in order to develop a Volunteer Project Action Plan.
