Urban Sustainability Directors Network
The commitment of city leaders in the area of climate change and sustainability has led to the growth in city staff dedicated to sustainable urban development, pursuing policies and actions from recycling and green building to green jobs and climate change planning. The Urban Sustainability Directors Network was formed in April 2009 by municipal sustainability leaders to enable us to learn from each other and accelerate achievement of ambitious city sustainability goals.

The Successful Communities Online Toolkit information exchange (SCOTie) is a partnership of planning chapters and nonprofits working to build stronger, more resilient communities in the West. The toolkit is a user-friendly clearinghouse of innovative and progressive plans, policies and ordinances from cities, towns and counties in and around the Intermountain West. SCOTie is a project of the Sonoran Institute, working to inspire and enable community decisions and public policies that respect the land and people of western North America.
