Residential Green Building

The four major national programs designed for single family and multifamily, custom, and production builders are: LEED for Homes, NAHB Green Building Program, Green Communities, and the U.S. Department of Energy's Building America Builder's Challenge (BABC). While these programs use similar frameworks to evaluate green building practices, each program calculates certification levels differently.
