Three Greatest Accomplishments to Date:
1. 1000 Mayors have signed on to the Mayor Climate Protection Agreement -- an effort initiated by Mayor Nickels to commit local governments to reducing emissions 7% below 1990 levels by 2012
2. Seattle City Light became the first net zero emissions utility -- and maintains this status through provision of clean energy and a rigorous offset program
3. Reduced community GHG emissions by 5% below 1990 levels (as of 2007) -- on target for meeting MCPA goals

Included for city funded buildings and commercial space. We have green building requirements for municipal space and green building incentive structures for commercial space.
