Three Greatest Accomplishments to Date:
1. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions 5.6% between calendar year 2007 and 2008.
2. Establishing the Division of Sustainability with a sufficiency budget and staff and appropriate location within the city government structure.
3. Reduced electricity use in City Hall 20% and saved about $130,000 annually.

City Sustainability Board: YES
The City of Atlanta Board is a multi-stakeholder board. The board members are appointed by the Mayor, by Executive Director and by other board members. Currently, the term is indefinite.

City Sustainability Plan: YES
Our overarching target is the US Conference of Mayors Climate Protection Agreement.

Climate Action Plan: YES
The City Government Climate Plan will be completed in the next 6 months. The Community Climate Action Plan is scheduled to be completed in the next 12 months.

Green Building Ordinance: YES
Currently only in place for city funded buildings 5,000 square feet or greater. A more comprehensive GBO is currently being proposed.
