Boston Schoolyard Initiative
The Boston Schoolyard Initiative (BSI) was a volunteer project that was completed through The Home Depot's Volunteer Program - Team Depot. It was organized with local volunteers and in cooperation the organization - Funder Collaboration Boston Schoolyard. This case study is a model for promoting community-driven eco-friendly development, environmental stewardship, responsible public policy, and outdoor experiential education in the Boston Public Schools (BPS).
