Alternative Work Schedule Commuter Cost Savings
This calculator determines the cost savings of an individual employee shifting from a traditional work week of 10 commutes to a reduced number of commutes. The user enters the number of miles he or she commutes, the number of commutes per month, the type of car and the number of trips saved. The calculator then gives the user the cost savings, in dollars, of the alternative work schedule. This simple calculator gives employers or employees an estimate of the amount they could save with alternative work scheduling. It is intended to give a generalized figure of dollars saved, which will appeal to many employees.
